Yes sir! I'm going to do my best to get on a top water bite. I see a long leader and a hopper dropper presentation in the near future! Unless it's muddy, then it's back to the basics.

Man that sounds fun! Do the stripers ever run up the Nolan in numbers? I caught two last year. But it was in late April at the end of the run.

I've never caught s striper in the Nolan. If fished the Nolan for 25 years, you'd think I would have caught one by now. I think your chances are better in the Brazos.

They run later than sandbass. But only seen a hand full caught over the years

Yea they flooded up the river right in town was decent by Tuesday or Wednesday should be cleared up very nice and be very fish able.
