For Amistad? Yes/No. Picked some up at an estate sale and trying to decide whether to use or sale them.

Wow! 298 looks and only one response. Not sounding good for fishing them. Guess I will sell them and use the money for more productive lures.

Think about what you just said here vs. the lack of posts. It should tell you everything you need to know about whether you should try them or not.

If they are original warts they are going to be a very productive bait if your around fish, if they are some of the newer ones they will work just a little less productive. I have a few originals, but they stay at the house I loose way to many cranks to throw them in the lake.

the things with the originals is maybe 1 in 5 actually had that "hunting" action that the originals are known for, the other 4 in 5 fished no different than the new ones. If they are indeed original wiggle wards we're talking about, I'd put them on ebay and sell them as such to those up in the Ozarks that will pay way more than they're worth for them. Turn around and get a lot MORE of something else, that's what I'd do. I don't know exactly what you have though.

Same here. I have a team mate from Wisconsin that sat up one night, for hours, in the hotel at Tabke Rock bidding on those damn things. He was paying $25-$30 for ONE!!!! Ignorant. But, he says the same to me about rods and reels. Lol

Ebay buyers will pay good money for the originals. I still have some of them, and had success with them in the past but haven't thrown them in 20 years.

The craw colored ones really catch fish the winter time. I always buy them in eBay during the summer they're cheap like 10-15 and double in the winter.

Had one person message me about them. Sounds like they are collectors stuff and not for fishing. Don't have paypal so that makes it difficult to sell them. I do have a flea market close where there is a fishing tackle booth that I may take them to and just trade them off. Thanks though for the comments.

I have at least a hundred of the pre rapalas, and I've yet found one that didn't hunt. They all do. Even if you tune them to run perfect, the first rock you hit sends them in hunt mode.
For the original poster; fish them. You probably didn't pay much for them, and they might bring you a memory of a lifetime.
