A few weeks back there was a post about organizing tournaments for CenTex lakes, Waco, Belton, Stillhouse, Austin, LBJ, Granger any info on weather this is in the works, who's spearheading it with contact info? I have a few guys really interested in helping out and getting things organized to include myself. All input welcomed.

We used to run a 4 lake series a few years ago, but interest kinda faded out and participation dropped. Dave and I were too busy to run it and tried to pass it off, but had no takers.

Centex Crappie Series

I still have the weight in baskets and tub in storage if anyone is interested in starting one up again. Just let me know thumb

I have the weigh in board from the old cen tex crappie trail. I got it from Rick to use on our catfish tournaments but we are not using it. If you get something going let me know and you can have the board I have.

So, I made the post for my buddy Matt (southtexasduckman) I know he's been busy duck hunting. I will reach out to him this week and see where we are. If I had someone willing to walk me through the process, if he's not available, or doesn't want to do it, then I will step up and take it. koobycrapie, can I count on your help if needed?

I'd have no problem assisting in getting someone started, it's not that difficult, but does take some time. I was looking at deploying and had to let loose of a lot of stuff at the time

The ends and out are pretty simple, and all our sponsors came from the TFF.

I talked to Waco kid and he's willing to handle Waco area lakes, Kooby is POC for his lakes, me and Chief and whom ever else will handle Stillhouse, Belton and other guys who live close to Centex lake please chime in really want to get things started. I have a Insurance company,a real estate brokerage, and a mortgage loan company who are willing to sponsor if they can fly banners during tourney's. I'm not fully retired yet or otherwise I would spearhead the whole thing I know Waco Kid was willing to do it since he has the time when not Guiding but any others are welcome to step up if they can.

Okay. So I spoke with Matt this morning and we decided that I will spearhead it. I ask that you all give me a couple months to get things rolling and finding out different things. I will keep you all updated. Kevin, prepare to have your phone blown up by me. Starting in 5,4,3,2, I'm calling now

Sounds good, my schedule is crazy right now, but if it works out I'd come and donate. Don't overlook Whitney, good fishing, plenty of lake with the water up now and good parks for a weigh-in.
