This appears to be blue gill beds but they are everywhere from 8'-20'. This is on a 9 acre lake in east Texas. Anyone have another explanation? There is a healthy population of bass, blue gill, catfish and some crappie.

They appear to be psychedelic bream beds.

Those are beds. One of the lakes I fish has at least a hundred acres of them in 25' or more that were done when the lake was first filling up after construction.

They may be bream beds but they look to symmetrical. How old is the lake...possibly a sheeps-foot roller used for compaction during the construction of the lake.

I'm with you. There are too many straight lines and symmetry. Fish didn't do that, humans did. I dunno wth it could be but it's definitely man made.

if you lower your range from 80 feet to around 30 or 40 feet you might see fish on the beds smile

I always wondered if that was what I was seeing on my graph at a local lake I hit often. Would bass do the same possibly?
