They make it sound so simple....LOL. I did finally catch my first one on a jerkbait today at Alan Henry. I tried a couple different ones and they both kept wanting to slowly float to the surface. May have to do some modifications.

Most of the jerkbaits on the market that claim to be suspending, are really slow risers. Get some suspendadots and your problem will be solved.

I would try going up one size for the ring on the front hook hanger before adding dots. Most of the suspending jerkbaits have very tight tolerance and a couple tenths of a gram can make a huge difference. Also water temp changing 5 degrees can really change how the bait will suspend.
