Maybe they will start generating some since the price of natural gas is down.

Back in the early 90's it ran all of the time. We used to climb thru the fence and go up to the first low water dam....30 lb test and a 4 inch sassy shad. You could easily walk out with a 4 fish stringer at 25 lbs of hybrids. If they game warden caught you you were screwed. Then they put cameras back there and no one risked it.

The hybrids have been gone for a long time and the lake has been infested with yellow bass due to pipeline transfers from East Texas.

I went to the 820 side at night when the water was flowing a few months ago I was just trying to beat a skunk and you could see the fish bouncing around in the light and some guy on the bank was screaming "turn that light off honkey!" I don't know why they wanted me to turn off the light I guess it was blinding them or messing with there fishing. Regardless I have fished live minnows on that side in the day and at night with big lights and there was nothin. The water is probably contaminated. I almost caught a little bass by the cut with the telephone pole sticking out of the water but he was too small to take the hook . You can also see a few big hoses dumping waste water in right there and turning the water yellow. As a matter of fact I have seen 2 different places with big 6" hoses dumping into the lake with yellow water and shad floating dead. I live on the lake and I know there's a problem.

Waste water?? WTF. What areas? I live across the street from the lake and the wife said she heard of someone dumping some type of gas into the lake last week

The Fort Worth side of the lake is dirty in terms of litter...especially further south. It is pretty marshy and doesn't lend itself well to clean up efforts.

Maybe you were interfering with George Jefferson's fishing? Should have responded with some Archie Bunker.....

There is a landfill and several scrap car lots up stream.....not a lake you want to eat a lot of fish out of.
