Howdy,

new to Dallas. Just bought my first boat, a 2004 Triton TRX21. Problem is I live in an apartment in Dallas. I was going to keep it at Lake Grapevine because it's 25 minutes away and it seemed like a nice smaller lake to start getting familiar with. But it's 20 feet high and doesn't look like that is going to change anytime soon. If anyone has a rec on where I might store this thing please let me know. It doesn't have to be on a lake, just has to be covered, locked, with electric and close to DFW.

Thanks!

Jeremy

I would try and find a place between Lew and RayBob and start fishing those two lakes. GV has been a huge disappointment in 2015. Once it turns back on, you're still close enough to put another lake in the mix.

Went through the same thing a few years ago. Stored mine in Mansfield, then temporarily at Lake Fork. I mostly fished Fork anyway (worth the drive). Dallas area boat storage is pricey and hard to find the right size stall. Get near a lake and you'll have better luck. Try around Lewisville (which is also closed) or east near Ray Hubbard. Good luck.

Thanks for your help, I'll check out some spots further north like you suggested.

I keep mine in Lewisville, live in Dallas. Kind of a pain but I usually fish Ray Rob, Lewisville, or Grapevine anyways

Lewisville boat storage is a good place. It's fair in price and has electricity.

Collin County can get pricey too, try Denton Couty or go South and East or West... Less populated areas have less need for storage. Less Demand SHOULD = Lower Prices.

Lewisville hasn't been closed in a couple months. Little elm
Ramp has stayed open through all the recent rains
