I recently bought a boat with a Johnson FS 150. It runs great, I would just like to ask if there is anything I need to watch for or reccommeded services? Thanks!

I have a 1997 Evinrude Intruder 115. Same motor as yours, but 4-cylinder instead of V6. I've had great luck with mine. In 19 years, we have replaced the VRO pump and did one carb job and that's it. I replace the lower unit oil at least once a year, but it probably never got changed in the 10 years before that when my dad had the boat.

Keep stabil in your fuel and you should be fine. If the VRO pump goes out on you, my advice would be to go to pre-mix. VRO pumps don't last too long if you're fishing all the time, and the simpler pumps you can use with pre-mixing are much cheaper.
