This time of year I like either a citrus or a bait with some lavender in the pattern. I'm not sure that would work now with the water high and I'm unsure of the water color.

fish a different lake for bass, probably your best bet.

I laugh everytime I hear someone say fish a different lake. Texoma is probably the only lake I fish that I have never zeroed. The thing about texoma and other larger lakes you really have to pick one area of the lake to break down and work that section of the lake or you will be running the lake and spending all your time driving.

Texoma is one of the best cold water bass lakes around. Seen many 20+ pound stringers weighed in the cold of winter.

These were caught 3rd week of March last year. My 5 weighed 25.48 with a 8.93 kicker and my partners weighed 12 something with one almost 10. If it had been a team weight we would of had 34-35. All on jerkbaits.

Yes... Texoma is bad, dont fish there during the cold weather months. Stick to the Power Plant lakes. bolt nuts

IMO, the best lake in our area when water temps are between 40 and 55 degrees.
