I'm going to Orlando for a Chevy trip February 19-22nd and will be busy with Chevy stuff the first 3 days. I booked a late flight out on the 22nd (full moon) leaving at 7:10pm and have the whole day to do what ever I want. I'm thinking about booking a bass fishing trip at Toho looking at the map it's pretty close. Does anybody have a recommendation for a guide there? I do not want to do the live bait deal which looks to be pretty common. The other option is to head to Daytona Beach for a salt water trip I've heard the Tarpon can be really good there but not sure it's the right time of year. Any suggestions are welcomed!!!

I have no experience with either but Full moon in February on Toho sounds hard to beat!

Monte, does this trip have anything to do with the Daytona 500? It is Feb.21.

Yes we are going to the Daytona 500 Sunday Chevy will be doing it up Big Time they are putting us up at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando for 3 days with all kinds of cool stuff to do. Also going on an air boat swamp tour and every night they will be wining and dinning us including a concert at Hard Rock with a surprise artist last year it was Kid Rock.

TOHO for sure.
But if you're having trouble finding a guide check out E. Lake Toho, this lake is not as accessable as the other Kissimmee Chain lakes but has some great fishing, especially behind the reed line for nesters at this time of the year.
Just please release the females!
Wish like hell I was going with you.
