Read pretty much everything from in-Fisherman just looking to Stock Up on some Good'Uns.

K.G have you looked at the yearly in fisherman pan fish specials. They are pretty informative and you can get the digital version for about $5.00.

so many internet mags out a lot of crappie mags closed shop just couldn't compete.

The websites below have info on crappie fishing. Doing a search on youtube will give lots of videos - some good but many just so-so. The $25 membership fee of CAT (Crappie Anglers of Texas) gives you access to the videos of the meetings. These are worthwhile looking at if you cannot attend the meetings.
