Hey guys, I bought a lowrance mark 4 for my Diablo Amigo. I can't decide if I want to mount it through the scupper or use a transducer arm. I do drag my boat a lot but I don't think it would get damaged through the scupper. What do you say? Thanks

I use the swing arm because I use my FF on a couple of my yaks. I also like the swing arm because if the transducer does hit something it swings out of the way. In the scupper it won't give. It does make for bigger obstacle on my left side but I've done that for several years now and never got hung up on it. What I did was get a black cutting board, cut it smaller, and mounted both the FF and swing arm to it. It mounts on gear tracks so I can easily take it on and off as one unit. That's nice when transporting so you can lock it in your vehicle.

If you guys have pictures of your installs that would be great. Im on the fence about how I'm going to set mine up. I'm sure others are too.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going the swing arm route because I duck hunt out of the yak half of the time, so being able to take it off will be a plus. Take care
