The BLT Striper Challenge is excited to announce our 2016 schedule. There will be a "boat captain" AOY bonus provided by the Pottsboro Chamber of Commerce and awarded at the end of the year. The boat captain with the most points at the end of the 2016 season will be awarded the bonus. The boat captain may keep the bonus or split it with his teammates. The points will be awarded based on weight and ranking in each Texoma tournament. We will have additional information posted on our website at

* Feb 21 Whitney - Uncle Gus
* June 4 Possum Kingdom - D&D South
* June 25 Texoma - Highport
* Sept 11 Texoma - Highport

*** The entry fee will be $200 per tournament
*** No membership is required and all tournaments are considered an "open tournament" to anyone.
*** Guides may enter the tournaments
*** Up to 4 people may be on the team
*** Only the two biggest stripers per team can be weighed in.
*** Fish will be returned to the anglers after they are weighed in
*** The payout will be 1 place up to 5 entries,6 entries to 10 will pay two places, 11 to 15 teams will pay 3 places, beyond 15 teams will pay 1 more place per 5 additional entries.
*** The Pottsboro Chamber of Commerce will provide additional bonus money for the teams that are just out of the money at every Texoma tournament. More details to follow.
*** 80% of the entry fees will be paid out at every tournament.
*** $10 per entry fee will go to the angler who caught the biggest striper.
*** The tournaments are trailering events.
Early registration can be completed by mailing in an entry form or by using a credit card. Late registration can be completed at the weigh in location beginning at 5am the morning of the tournament. Start times will be posted on the
www.usafishingtrails.com website on the early entry page. The stop fishing time will be 1pm and a team member must be in line with their catch by 2pm. The awards ceremony will take place right after the weigh in.
