I know... I am not looking forward it at all. They have already cancelled school and brought in electric workers from out of state.... I was hoping maybe somebody hacked the Weather computer and this is a hoax but I think we are gonna get hammered....

The older I get the less I like winter... thinking about moving to TN......

I like a good pair of insulated underwear. then sweat pants and a good hoodie. Then some good gortex bibs and a good coat. Then the gortex top over the coat. as much thick stuff as you can stand on your neck and head. Beanies, neck gators, balaclaca. wool socks, sometimes 2 pair, and some good boots. i got some danners a while back and i stay warm even when its freezing. layering is the key.

I wear sweat pants under some BPS 100 bibs. One under armor long sleeve shirt. One hoodie, then a BPS 100 jacket. I wear a SnapOn military looking hat with ear flaps and furry lining. Shoes are timberland goretex shoes with really thick wool socks. I trade out gloves all day, depending on wet or just cold. I wear a nomex and dear skin thing over my head and face that I had from my sport bike racing days.

^^^^^ This works for days on the water where it's raining, windy, and above freezing. I don't fish if it's frozen over.
