Fished today from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Threw the tacklebox at em. There are no fish in that lake.

I read my old bass clubs and the other club's tournament results on that lake. Going instead to casually fish other nearby lakes during week between coldfronts when I choose to go most always beats their very best posted results.

Well we were in my buddy's johnboat (no depth-finder), so we had to stay close to shore which was probably a lot of it. But geez I figured there'd be at least a couple sitting on the rock retaining walls/underneath docks on points. Nothin'.

We were...figured we should stay in close proximity to the deepest water. Does it produce better further north?

Not that i've had a lot of success on limestone to begin with, i've caught most of my fish there up on the north end

I've had some success on the south end, just not this early in the year. Limestone can be tough any time of the year, though.

Good to know...thanks guys. Seeing as it's over an hour drive from me and apparently so universally unimpressive, I think I'll focus future efforts elsewhere. I'll fish anywhere once, though.
