Its that time of year again! Whitney will be holding their annual bass tournament March 19th. You can pick up entry forms at the central fire station or fill one out that morning at the rest stop just outside Loffer's bend park.

Whitney fire/rescue is having a fundraiser fishing tournament on March 19th. We are trying to raise money to purchase a new thermal imaging camera. I will be visiting local business next week in search of donations to help make this tournament a success. We also will be selling raffle tickets in the near future. The items to be raffled so far are a guided fishing trip with guaranteed guide service, a gun from Kars plus, and a water filtered vacuum from discount vacuum. We also will be selling poker cards for a chance at winning a yeti cooler with help from western auto. We have already received tournament prizes from heart of Texas auto auction and support from five1seven designs.

I finally got the entry form to work.

The big fish are already being weighed in. This tournament could be spot on for the spawn! Some one weighed in a 11 pounder last week.
