Has anyone dealt with her lately? I got a qoute a year ago for 400 to redo my ranger seats. I wanted to wait until tournament season was out before moving forward. She has doubled her price to 800$. Is her work that impressive? Guess I need to check the price of a new seat. Can't imagine it would be much more, if any.

Her work is good, but not $800 good. You can buy brand new aftermarket seats with the center seat, butt seat, and fat boy seat for the back deck for around $700. The whole draw to use Nina was the price, you couldnt beat it. She did seats on my last boat and did a good job for the price, $300. If she was wanting $800 I'd have just bought new aftermarket seats.

She has definitely gone up on pricing. Had mine done a few years ago and they turned out great and the price was good. My son just checked with her on a bench seat and it was almost the cost of what he could get a new one.

I called back just to make sure I understood her correctly... 800. I asked about the double in price and her response was "some people aren't concerned with price, I've got plenty of work" lol. Not my work. Found the right price just a couple of miles down the road

No way! She is not that good.. even when she was cheap I thought I wouldn't go back because she doesn't get the material tight enough... the material is loose... I have always been told it takes a strong person to do good upholstery work.

Andy, can you give me the name of the place you found to do your seats? I would like to have my son check with them. Plus, I'm sure others would like to know also.

It is the supply demand effect, when you have plenty of work you price additional high, when it slows, you come down on price.
