THIS TOURNAMENT WAS A JOKE!!!!!! THE WINNERS BROKE RULE#6 DID NOT WEAR LIFE JACKET WITH BIG MOTOR RUNNING. ADMITTED IT DURING POLYGRAPH. TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS BROKE RULE #11 DID NOT DQ CONTESTANT. THEY SAID BECAUSE IT WASN'T A FISHING VIOLATION THAT THEY WOULD STILL PAY THEM THE GRAND PRIZE OF 3000 DOLLARS MINUS POLYGRAPH FEES. JUST BE AWARE IF YOU FISH THIS TOURNAMENT IN THE FUTURE RULES DO NOT MATTER IF THE WINNER IS A LOCAL FROM EASTLAND. I HAVE FISHED TOURNAMENTS WERE CONTESTANTS WERE DISQUALIFIED FOR THI EXACT RULE. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO INFORCE THE RULES DO NOT PUT THEM IN.

Read my post on page 1. If it has anything to do with the boat dealership in eastland, I stay away from it. Bunch of crooks but nobody wants to listen. This is the 2nd or 3rd year something like this has happened.

YEP, there is a reason nobody in that area will even take their boat there. Every thing they are involved with is always like this. This is just another reason why I didnt fish it this year. They want to guarantee these huge payouts based on 75 boats to draw attention on the flyer and then they have about 15 boats show up and not get hardly anything. I feel bad for the team that got 2nd.

We are also sponsoring the Arrow Ford Bass Club tournament this coming weekend on Lake Brownwood, and we have sponsored dozens of tournaments through the years that went very smoothly. Also, FLW_01 we had a 35 boat turn out last weekend, and the payout was not based on 75 boats (which you would have seen if you had read the flyer.) The payout advertised, was the amount that we paid last weekend.
