what does everyone think about the new reservation process? Reserving many weeks out sure seems to help with planning. seems like the down side is that even more slots will be reserved by folks that might not even fish.

Only complaint I have is I rarely get a confirmation email back. Got one today for the first time that I can remember

how many have you had to drink when you do your reservation. I've got one everytime.

Don't get to drink at work, so rarely. They said they do have some issues with Hotmail and yahoo accounts.

Haven't had any issues at all making reservations, receiving email confirmations, and being on the list when I get there. Boat in, fish on

Ehhh its not that big of deal. I know what days I get one, and never had an issue.

Only thing I'm worried about is the yakers in the middle of the lake in waist deep fog.

Saw them yesterday. They've got some big ones for sure.

I wish that they would keep it at a certain number of boats (either 125 or 150). It doesn't make a lot of sense to have a reservation process, but then just let everyone in. If they would make people pay when they make a reservation, it would eliminate a lot of the problems. If people have to cancel, they could just offer some credit voucher. I got a random email yesterday saying that my registration for Jan 23rd had been cancelled. I called and the lady that answered told me don't worry about it - just show up. I told her that I had my confirmation email with my original booking for the 23rd and she told me I didn't even need it. It seems like a pretty "relaxed" registration process for sure.

If you got a delete notice then you had two reservation for the same day. They go through a couple of time a weeks and delete doubles. Your other ones should still be there. It is faster for her to tell you she will just let you in that to find your other. They are on an air card with poor reception. Accounting will not let them charge ahead of time, they only want cash so they can make one deposit weekly and not have to track refunds and deal with insufficient funds and such. If every thing worked right it would be nice to only let the 125 that signed up go in but there are always lots of issues. They have only gone over the 125 once this year. Lots of days 125 will sign up and only 70 show up if weather is bad. AOL email user have had the most problems. Gmail seems to have fewest issues.

I had problems with my Microsoft Outlook account the first couple times I tried. Then started using my Yahoo account and haven't had an issue since.
