Great week on Fork! The next few weeks the weather looks great and the fish are eating. Most of my fish are coming on weightless flukes, senkos, and swim baits just fishing the flooded vegetation. When the bite slows there are lots of fish on beds. The water is clearing and with this warm weather fish will continue to push toward the bank. Let me know if I can help anyone out. I only have a couple days in April but do have days in May when the frog bite should be going off. Pics of some customers fish from the last couple of days.

Ok so with all this talk of Fork fishing tough, let's clear some things up. Does it fish tough some days? Yes. Are the fisherman making it tough on themselves? Yes. If they aren't hitting what you are throwing change up, move spots, or instead of fishing the morning fish the evening. People think that Fork should put out 30+ fish a day with a couple double digits. Fork is fine, the big girls are still in here, and you can catch em if you get out amongst em.

I just had this Wednesday reschedule if anyone is looking for a trip. Also this next month is awesome fishing for both numbers and big fish and I have dates available. All I can say is Ribbit, Ribbit .......any of you that fished with me last May know what I'm talking about. Here are some pics from this last week and today.

Ok this post is gonna be a little different guys. This is for the tournament anglers coming to Lake Fork. With the Legend, Skeeter, and Mc Donald's coming, there are ways to catch check winning fish on fork. The key to this is catching a bunch of fish in the 15.5 to 16 inch range. I have dates before all of these tourneys if anyone's interested give me a call. This is what you are looking for and a big one caught this week that will get you paid.

Have just a couple more days open in May if anyone is looking to get out and learn different ways to catch Lake Fork bass. May is one of the best months on the lake. Ribbit Ribbit

Also if anyone wants a freezer filler run the sand bass are loaded on deep structure. We caught over 200 on Thursday and Friday The is a fun and easy trip with so much action it will wear you out. I even clean and bag the fish. Call me for pricing

Cloudy days mean big fish on top through out the day. My client from Pheonix, Az caught this 9 lber on a frog. I still have dates available for May and June. Fish are starting to get out deep also. I've been catching 3-5 bass on each deep spot while weeding through the magnum sand bass. Lots of catching for sure. Contact me if I can help you out in anyway.

Top water fish in the morning then moving out to deep structure. Lots of catching as many of you know the sand bass are stacked out deep. There are some giant largemouth amongst em. Had a client on Saturday that hooked one on an A rig that came up and jumped then broke the A rig in half..... Monster. Also had one try to eat a sand bass hooked on a 8XD that was easily around 10. I'm doing freezer filler runs and you can get a two man limit in under an hour on monster white bass.

Bass are stacking up out deep. Yes you have to weed through the sandbass on certain baits. Most of my days have been like this though. Today we had 18 largemouth and about 70 mag sandies. If anyone is looking for trips I do have a some dates available in June. The big girls are in these schools so don't get discouraged if you are catching the striped fish. Just giving an update for anyone coming to Fork. Couple of pics from today. Crappie are on brush too!

Ok I haven't posted in about a week because been super busy the week of the Sleeter Tourney. The bass are out deep and we are catching some big ol Lake Fork donkeys. Most of the bigger fish are coming from 18-25 feet on several different patterns. 2 of my guys from last week cashed big hourly checks with 2.55 and 2.49 unders. I have dates for the end of June and several dates available in July. This is my favorite time of year to fish cause you can fire up big schools of bass and rip em. Also the sand bass fishing on Fork is plum stupid and awesome for women and children. All trips of sandbass we are catching 100+ easy. Call me if I can help in any way. Thanks.
