I would like to know if anyone knows anything about the Hydrowave system or what they think of them.

There was a long thread about them last year. Basically it went like this. Some believe it works and sweat by it. Some don't believe it works and want nothing to do with it. Some aren't sure if it works but use it just incase it does.

Then some have it to have it but never turn it on. Bahahaha. Best thing is just to try it. If you decide against it, they are still worth something used.

I started using one this summer. Several times I have been catching fish then turned it on and they got better or started biting again. I have seen bait fish come to my boat. I can't say when or where its gonna do something but I think it does. I have the one I bought this summer for sale. I won newer model.

Then there are guys that have one, in the battery compartment of their boat, and don't say anything.

I had one on my previous boat and it seemed to work well. I bought a new boat and never installed the unit on my new boat. I caught less fish in the same situation. So I can't swear by them but I will say this. I bought a new H2 unit over the holidays and it's installed on my boat now.

Great product and even better customer service!! I had an issue after the torrential rains last spring. My unit quit working so I emailed customer service. I received a reply and didn't like it, so I called the company! Within one week, Mr Braig drove his own vehicle to meet me close by my house! I handed him the bad unit, and he handed me a brand new complete kit!! I was astounded by this customer service!! I enjoy the unit when bait is close and fish are feeding! It seems to excite or entice the predatory instinct to feed! I am a believer in the science behind it!

As with anything you will get a million different answer. So what are you going to believe. I don't know. I own one. And would buy another one if the one i have stops working. I turn mine on every time i go out. I change the setting a few times during the day. I have noticed ghost minnow around the trolling motor more. I cant say for sure that it helps me catch more fish as i cant see what the fish are doing. I don't know if they come to the sound and see my bait and i catch them or did i just run my bait by one.. If you listen to some old cat fisherman they will tell you beating on the bottom of the boat will attack fish. Do you believe that. To each his own. I have one and believe in it so now you know how one more person feels.

There a lot of people that use and believe in Hydrowave. If you know when and how to use it, it works. Rod Maker,I read your other thread in the striper section, as far as you not getting a response quick enough from Mr.Braig, there's probably a good reason. He's a great guy and travels all over the country trying to meet thousands of custom needs. If you don't get a response on the same day or the next, it's probably because he's on the road or trying to get caught up on answering emails from potential customs like you, I promise he wants to help you out, current customers, and all future customs:)

I just purchased a unit for our boat. My hope is that it will help mask the unwanted sounds of the boat that might scare fish away or keep them from biting, like the trolling motor, etc... . I think there is potential for it to do just what I purchased it for and am excited to try it out while fishing today and tomorrow.

Justin I sent the email to Mr Braig's costomer service on his web site last Monday a week ago. I feel 7 days is pleanty of time to respond if a person believes in what they have and say they have good costomer service and that stand by their products. I feel that if someone says they have good costomer service then it should not take a week to answer someones questions. I don't call that good service.

Another gimmick a few have bought into hook, line, and sinker. Fisherman are gullible and will buy anything they think will "make" them better. lol
