Probably been asked before but which do you prefer feather or marabou jigs and why?

I use both, sometimes I mix them, maribou has more movement but doesn't store as good as in a box with other jigs because it tangles up in the hooks, I put foam in my boxes so I can stick the hooks in it so they don't bounce around, but when I want a really bulky bait I use the Maribou

So you're mixing the two feathers and marabou on a single jig? I assume its feathers (smaller profile) for winter crappie? For the tail I'll put feather on top and the bottom small strands of maibou, Try it makes for a differnet presentation becuase the maribou flares out around the feathers I like both eqaully well I like the mini maibou when I use it
