I fish Rayburn and Toledo, I see just about every boat made. Was getting gas in Manny LA, (Toledo Bend) guy pulled up with a boat I have never seen before, didnt know what it was. It was a dang good lookin boat, or at least at first glance it looked good . I had to pull up close to see what it was. It was a progator, it didnt look like the ones I've seen in the Walmart BFL tournament is fish, few guys run them. I have never seen one like it, I guess its a new one. The old ones had pretty week dated graphics. I know little about them other than they are said to be a good boat. The graphics were simple but clean looking.

At first I thought the trailer was painted silver, once I got closer it was Aluminum. I'm not much on aluminum trailers but this one was fine as frog hair.
I went to their website but shows to be under construction. I may call them on Monday and a question or two. It looked be 20-21 foot. I couldnt tell how big the deck was, I was in a hurry and didnt get out and look at it in detail. I should have asked the guy getting gas if I could have looked at his boat. I'm on my second 921 phoenix, but never know may do something different down the road and have to know whats out there.

Thanks, Billy

Thanks, Billy

Brad,

I may sell it at the end of this year and get a new one, probably go with 4 stroke. You will get first shot. Thanks, Billy

Thanks, Billy

It is a 21 footer with unlimited horse power rating. Heck of a boat. I'm on my 2nd ProGator, hard to wear them out.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

These boats tend to be heavy, but well made.
Not going to be super fast though

Interesting, was looking hard at a Gator last year and the dated design was what held me back figured they'd eventually update it.

Probably not the fastest boat on the water but they are very well made!

I bought one new and have kept it for 20 years. Have had no problems with the Fiberglas hull, clear coat finish, transom, or deck lids.

Carried the boat to Benton, La, & had ProGator replace the seats last month. Would buy again.

There is a guy fishing in an 13-14ish progator with a Suzuki. There is also a new guy fishing out of a Charger that's blue-silver. Looks pretty neat but sits a mile high on the trailer.

They seem to have a serious cult following, probably the toughest hull on the market, they seem to spend very little on marketing and I'd guess they can pass those savings down to the customer. I've heard the early legend hulls were produced in the progator factory.

I've never heard anyone say anything bad about their progator's. Their strong hulls come in real handy in the east texas stumps.
