Saw this on another forum so i thought would to try it here. I have excess tackle that I was going to sell but changed mind. I decided to split it in 3 groups and ship it 3 different high school fishing teams. I will pay ship. All I want is to you write me and tell me why I should give a box to you. No PM Maybe TFF can help me choose a winner.

great idea. those kids need all of our help.
Everyone that I have ever spoken to about high school fishing has said "I wish they had that when I was in high school".

Ya, I wish they had bass fishing in school while I was there. Might have even liked school then. Nice offer Chato.

Nice offer and I really like the idea that they should do something to "earn" the tackle. Even something as small as writing a letter. Be interested I seeing if you get any takers.

Coming from someone who just graduated from high school last year and also from someone who started the first ever club at my school, that would be a great idea.I'm sure the teams would love the support!

About a year ago I gave boxes and boxes of stuff to a youth program-feels good just knowing it's getting used instead of sitting in my closet collecting dust.
You're doing a good thing and are to be commended.

I am the sponsor for the bass fishing team in Kennedale. We also have an outdoor education club that has a fishing tourney at the end of the year for kids in our club. If you gentlemen wish to donate tackle to kids, I can make sure they get it. We have already had some items donated and passed along last year and this year from TFF'ers. Thank you for giving back to the kids whoever you decide to donate to. There are a bunch of kids out there who love to fish and even more who are just now getting exposed to the outdoors we already have a strong passion for.

Just a little background on our program...we started an Adventures in Outdoor Education class two years ago. We had 200 kids participate in it last year and have a new group of 150 in it this year. From that we started our first ever THSBA bass team last year and are competing again this year as well. We have also started an after school archery team and have qualified for the state archery tourney in Belton March 31st and April 1st. Billy Kinder Outdoors has recorded a radio broadcast on our campus last year to promote the AOE classes nationwide. This program is making a difference in young people's lives. I see it every day. We would gladly accept any donations to pass on to our kids on both our bass teams, club, and classes. My hat goes off to you all for offering to donate items to the future fishermen and outdoorsmen. And if any of you out there do not have the AOE curriculum in your schools yet, please get in contact with Scott McClure and the Dallas Ecological Foundation as that is where the program started. They have been instrumental in helping us getting ours up and running.

I need to clarify what I want. Nothing long but have a student team member tell us about your team, what you need and if you had needed items would it help your team compete at higher level.
Let's have some fun
