Going down there for the first time ever this weekend and just wondering how much weather effects the bass there. Never fished a power plant lake at all just trying to get an idea on what to expect.

As long as a bunch of cold run off doesn't happen it's not effected much. Fog is always a factor on a cold morning.

water temps still fairly high. Fishing should be great, as long as you are prepared for it.

This weekend nobody will be able to blame weather on their fishing success, or lack of. Actually, this Saturday morning is ideal on any lake: cool, prefrontal, light winds and overcast. Y'all have fun out there. Some of us have to work for a living! :-)

Well guys thanks for the info went out today and had a good day despite having to replace a shear pin half way through. Didn't catch numbers at all but did find some quality.
