Is Canyon lake good for crappie/cats/sandies/stripers? Haven't heard much good about them on that lake and planning on moving into the area this summer from DFW.

They are definitely in there. They don't get much attention. Most people think of Canyon as a boating, pleasure lake. Not much cover for fishing but they are in there. (Very well hidden)

Yeah, I agree. It took me a few years to gain a clearer view of things. With so many short fish in the population, I've had to make a few key changes to weed em out.
