Just Picked up my Nelson Custom swim bait rod yesterday. Built on the Phoenix Black Diamond Hydrid 838 for Deps 250's.It's a work of art. Nelson is crazy detail oriented, and was stressed over ever detail of this rod making sure I loved the final product. We talked several times per week throughout the process. I had a great experience. If you are looking for a Custom build, he makes a great rod, and is an even better guy to work with.

That's a sick rod Man... always cool to see another guy throwing the big baits.

Walker has built me a custom and I plan to add another this year. Dude does incredible work. I don't think there is anyone as concerned with the details as he is.

Finally got a chance to throw a Deps 250 on it this weekend. It handles that bait very well.
