If you could only choose one line, for everything, what would it be?

It gets really confusing for an amateur with all the different types and weights, carbon, fluro or braid. Just curious what y'all think a good all around line is. Thanks

Fluro. for everything but top water hard baits, would be my pick. If I had to loose topwater for all the other applications I could use fluro for then thats what I would use.

If I had to use only one I would probably go back to old fashioned monofilament. Still works like it always did!

15# McCoy's Mean Green. Extremely buoyant (more buoyant than most mono), so it's great for topwaters and crig leader Less memory, less stretch, and better sensitivity than most mono. (It feels like 15# fluoro on Trig and jigs) It's got a little more stretch than most fluoro, and I like this forgiveness when fishing a crankbait and a larger bass surges.
Because it's so buoyant, it can turn suspending jerkbaits into floaters, so I'd have to add suspend dots or heavier hooks
