From the bank find river access and deep holes.

I usually get them at the park located at the end of bosque. But haven't been in a while so I don't know how bad debris is .

I would try Brazos Park East and cast on both of the boat ramps .

About threw my arm off at Brazos park east. All I caught was a rusty hook. And the dog cut his paw on a piece of glass. Did a little touch up with super glue and he was good to go. Caught 5 fish total. Small channel. Two 2lb and a 4 lb blue. Then a awesome 12.52 lb 31.5 inch blue. All on punch bait. Aj
ll released.

there are a couple places to catch gizzard shad, one spot 8-10 inches long, one place 5-6 inches long. I wouldnt know how to tell you how to get there Id just have to show you. Is the bait store still open where they were selling perch ?.. Like if you are going to mexia

Not that I know of. I always go to walmart for livers or dip bait. I catch everything else myself. I know lake waco, bosque and the brazos pretty well around here. Maybe if u know of land markers or buildings?

Go to the spill way. If they are still letting water out the shad are there. Go downstream from the rocks but before the bridge.
