I had one go out on my 2005 a couple of year ago. I took it to the Boat Center on lake Palestine and had it replaced. I would imagine any dealer should be able to get you one.

I've heard they make a deal that allows you to insert a key in case the pad goes out. Does anyone know about this?

Yes they do make a key switch that can be hooked into the wiring harness. Go to a Ranger dealer and they will most likely have one in stock. They can also order you a new keypad. It is just two to three small nuts off the back and unplug harness.

They key switch is about $50 and is cheap insurance.
