Hmmmm if we had not gotten 65 inches of rain in 2015 I would say no way.
But, since we did... Its possible, I am very a solid maybe so.
And if it comes, I bet it comes from some where that is not even on the big fish radar today, an unknown place.

Will we ever see another 18lber from public waters? As for private water, do yall think they will break 20lbs in the next 10yrs?

I don't think on public water. Take the SAL numbers for example...they have gone down year over year...it would be cool if it did...but I doubt it.

Reading "Sowbelly" right now. Are there hardcore guys like these out fishing the big fish lakes for them 250 days a year, because I think that is what it will likely take to accomplish it. Have not heard anything from La Perla recently, that might have the best chance, with Falcon, Amistad, Fork, Toledo and Rayburn right behind it. With deer season being over, how many monsters are going to show themselves after hiding under rocks for the last 2.5 months? Same with the big bass, they only get reported these first few months of the year. WHERE DO THEY ALL GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder with the recent issues with SAL if people are just not reporting bigger fish? but very possible they are just not being caught

Maybe, anything is possible esp. since we finally got enough rain to raise some of the lake levels. I think the next record will come from either Falcon or Amistad, with an outside chance of it coming from Fork, jmho.
