 Helix 7 DI/GPS or Lowrance Elite 7 Chirp DI/GPS?

Trying to determine the best unit for crappie and bass fishing. Primarily on small lakes in East Tex. Given all the negative reviews on the Lowrance Elite 7 and update speeds with Navionics chip, I'm leaning towards Helix 7, but have always owned Lowrance.
Would love to hear everyone's feedback.

Helix 7 bought one today after being a Lowrance guy for the longest installation is easy plus the display is truly amazing even with stock settings.
