Congratulations to Curtis & Karen Sheppard on their win in the first C.A.S.T. Southeast Region tournament of 2016 on Toledo Bend.

Curtis & Karen had a very respectable five fish stringer weighing 20.31 pounds!! Their catch also included a nice bass weighing 5.36 pounds. The win give them their best finish since they joined C.A.S.T. resulting in a nice check for $1185.00!! Not bad for a single regional tournament!!

Taking second place also with a great stringer were new C.A.S.T. members, Ryan & Jana Keele. Their bag of bass weighed 20.22 pounds and included a good fish weighing 6.07 pounds. This was Jana's first bass tournament ever so she was excited, especially since she was the one who caught their biggest fish. Not a bad day, topped off with a check for $725.00! Good Job Guys!

Coming in with the third place weight of 19.05 pounds were last season's Anglers of the Year, David & Tina Bozarth. They also had a good fish weighing 6.07 pounds. Their efforts paid out $460.00! Congrats.

Big Bass honors for the tournament went to Lori Cobb for her fish weighing 6.43 pounds. Needless to say Lori was really excited and no one could take the big smile off her face at weigh-in! She and her husband Paul took home a pair of checks totaling $520.00!!! A good day despite the cold and wind!
