Hi, this is my first post here. Some buddies of mine from Texasbowhunter.com recommended I get on this site.
I have lived in the Cedar Creek lake area for years but never have fished it much. That is about to change since I just purchased a lakefront home. I have a 17' Tracker Magnum with a 90HP Johnson and a couple of kayaks. Heck, a canoe too.
Anyway, I don't have any problem finding sand bass when my 11 year old daughter wants to go out and catch a few fish. I however want to learn more about catching Hybrids and Crappie on the lake. I'm not asking for GPS coordinates for anyone's honey hole, LOL! Just a few pointers and general areas for me to look. I'm on the east side of the lake, about mid-lake. Behind Enchanted Isle. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Welcome to the Forum and if you will post this in the crappie and white bass area you may get more responses.

Check out posts by Dennis Christianson. Lots of valuable info posted by him for Cedar Creek.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

Well, I tried the search feature with no luck. But then, I'm kinda like Forrest Gump..." I'm not a very smart man!"

You live in a prime area! Go to striper section. His name is actually Dennis Christian. He has a free map with sites and lots of info and articles on technique. Drop me a PM if you need more info. I live on west side, Key Ranch.
Also Look at dead sticking info for hybrids this time of year and Crappie section for info on that.

PS: Welcome to the forum! Great info here, much of it specific to Cedar Creek.
