Been looking at the Jackson big tuna.
Any feedback on that rig or others that are suitable for a big guy (6'4 230) who is not crazy agile to be able to stand fish from?
Looking to narrow down options to research.
Thx for your feedback fellas.

Jackson Big Rig is supposed to be their most stable. Never tried it. FeelFree Lures are pretty stable, as are any SUP/kayak hybrid like the Diablo kayaks. My Old Town Predator 13 is also fairly stable, and I'm more or less the same size as you (lose a few inches and a few pounds), but I would recommend getting a standing bar for an Old Town.

hobie pa14 is super stable...I'm not too much smaller than you and fish standing up a lot in mine...
One thing to keep in mind about the standing thing...when you stand up, you're a big sail...even a slight breeze will push you quite a bit so you have to have your anchoring solution(s) worked out. I carry a drift anchor, a claw anchor, a brush claw and a stick anchor and use all of them.

And, just to bring it up again, if you want to fish standing almost all day, you just have to consider a Meyers Sportspal S-15 or S-16 canoe. One day, another Brad and I were fishing Wheeler Branch, and I had my trolling motor on the back of the flat transom on my S-15, the wind kicked up a lot and I was going to head over to the island crossing about 300 yards of waves and wind . . . and I stood in the Sportspal all the way across . . . never even remotely affected by the waves and wind. It is that stable. S-15 has the flat back stern, the S-16 double pointed but it comes with a side mount for a small trolling motor so each has its merits.

My wife and I use the Big Tuna mainly due to easy to paddle and lots of room.
The Big Rig is like a aircraft carrier extremely stable.
Another option is the Coosa HD
If you want to try something pm me be glad let you try one.

Great feedback guys and thanks for the PMs.
After thinking it over I'm gonna stick with my current set up for now.
But I see a yak in my future. Maybe after this season.

There are several boats that will work for standing you have the Hobie Pro Anglers, Native Slayers & Propels, Predator Series from Old Town, Ocean Kayak - Big Game, Wilderness ATAK as wells as the Rides, NuCanoe - Frontiers and Pursuit are all very good kayaks to look at. What ever you do the most important factor is you Demoing all boats that you are considering because no can tell you how any of those kayaks will feel to you only you will know what feels right. Mariner Demos every Wed in the winter if weather permits from 3 to 5 by appointment and we do carry all the manufactures listed above .

I'm 6'3" 245 and stand and feel just fine in my slayer propel 13. Plenty of options out there. Demoing different ones is the best way to go.

Wait I'm 6'4" 235 are you calling me big??? I fish out of a Feelfree lure and I have no problems standing. I would say hit a demo day and try as many as you could see what you like.

Yes, Bradtex saw me crossing ahead of him as he had stayed back fishing in a cove and was lagging behind me that day at that point. It was the first time that day I dropped my trolling motor down to motor back across the lake to the island in the middle. I stood all the way across in a strong wind with wave action beating on the starboard side. No issues. It is more stable than the steadiest of kayaks in my estimation. When you stand, you really don't have to think about it at all; in most kayaks you have to stay a bit focused.
And, I saw a video of the absolutely huge Hobie 17T tandem and when one of the fishermen in the vessel stood up, you could still see it rock a few inches back and forth. It is much wider than a Sportspal but this canoe has a much flatter bottom and that it where it picks up the added stability. It costs about 1/5th what a 17T costs, weighs about 1/5th as much, too.
Demoing is the way to go, that and even then you have to carefully match your purchase to how you fish. If you want to power up with a trolling motor, I'd even add to my belief that the Meyers Sportspal is the way to go. Or, even more, if you want to cross some larger lakes . . . or work around the perimeters, you could drop on a small Honda or other outboard and off you go. These canoes are ready to go and the power alternatives for kayaks are almost always very expensive.
Lots to like out there these days and more coming all the time.
