I just bought a new hummingbird 1199. Trying to remove the old lowrance and can't get the old gps puck off the boat. I can't feel any bolts under console and can't twist it off. Please help
Thanks Rut

Where are you talking about? Glassed inside the hull or on the transom?

Bobby, he said GPS puck - NOT a transducer for sonar.

Rutster, the Lowrance GPS antennas I've seen in recent years have had two screws holding them down from the top. Some of these have had small white plugs inserted into the recess where each screw is located. These plugs look pretty clean cosmetically and you might have to look closely to notice them. The screw would be underneath. You may need a fish-hook to pop them out. How about a photo?

It is also possible that it is held down with silicone. I know mine was.

Yep, silicone or VHB tape. Both can be stubborn to remove. I've always used VHB to put mine down.

I had to end up driving a screwdriver under it. I did destroy it taking it off. What happened it came from factory with 2 small screws from the bottom . Then champion being the stud they r completely carpeted underneath console and covered up screws. Thanks for all replies
