Anyone put a SEI lower unit on a Yamaha HPDI? Did it last?

I have never put one on a HPDI, but I have used them on Mercury Pro XS. No issues at all.

I've got a 250 Yamaha HPDI with a blown powerhead for sale if you're looking for a replacement lower unit.

I have one on a 2004 250 HPDI. I have ran it for 2 years now. Gear ratio is different but doesn't seem to matter. Maybe I am lucky... But when it goes out I will buy another and still be ahead $2000. I do believe I did see Baylor has a really good deal on his.

Yep they don't make one for an HPDI. They are different gear ratio and don't have the low water pick up oem cases have.
