been a day or two since your post, but i am catching LMB in 5-6 FOW on spinner baits - large colorado blade and switching between dark skirt and white skirt depending on the clouds - water is slightly stained ... not great results as the weather cant make up its mind!!!! have caught several from 2 - 5 lbs in the last day or so in coves on SW corner

hope that helps - obviously weather conditions will change significantly on Saturday, but i think after an actual week or two of cold weather those brave (stupid) enough will get real lucky...

Thanks
I appreciate the info.
I have made a New Years Resolution to fish a new lake this year other than Fork & Athens.
Cedar Creek is 30 minutes from being on the water so I am going to spend some time there.

Nutman, Cedar Creek is a great lake in the spring and summer! Now with the high water and the grass, frogs work tremendously. Find isolated grass patches and throw spooks around them and frogs in them. Lower half of the lake has done best for me. Once summer gets here and the sun gets up during the day, pick up a drop shot and go to town.

Good luck out there! I'll be fishing the Ignition Series on CC so I'm sure I'll see you around. If you see a blue and white BassCat with Mercury 250 make sure you holler!

Not quite sure I'd be throwing a frog this time of the year. I fished Cedar two weeks ago, I caught a few shallow and a few more down by the damn off points. I'd be looking deep but then again you could go flip docks and catch them also.
