Planned a trip to Welsh today but something came up and I had to be home by 3pm. My buddy and I decided to go to Hubbard since it's close to home and so glad that we did. The wind was kinda brutal but Old Mother Hubbard rewarded us with some nice fish today.

Nice job mate... I'd like to learn this lake. Only fished it once and not even a bite. The wind blew me off from fishing offshore. I was told the hybrids and stripers keep the bass shallow there but I swear I graphed the mother load way out there in no man's land.

Nice job. Do you recall what the water temp a were like? Water temp was between 49 and 51 today
