Trying to find some good/hot crappie spots from the bank in belton or stillhouse. Trying to get into fishing for them! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not familiar with bank fishing at Stillhouse. Belton, starting about mid Feb., the area close to the Hwy 36 Bridge is usually good for crappie. You'll see plenty of good bank area and people fishing it. Good luck

Winter bank fishing used to be good at Cedar Ridge Park east of the boat ramp on the rock bluff at night. That's the only bank place I know of to have a decent chance in the winter. That's the boat ramp by the marina.

Is that pier 36 marina that you are taking about or the cedar ridge rd. That goes down to the lake?

Pier 36 Marina. The boat ramp is east of the marina and the bluff is just east of the ramp.

Leona and White Flint Park on Belton can also be okay on a given night due to the depth of some of the drop offs and the amount of shad that stay in that area.
I have seen them caught off the bank around Cedar Gap park at night on Stilhhouse, but not the safest place.

Consistency is going to be real tough on a lot of winter bank spots, especially on these lakes, as its dependent on the shad moving through there or not usually. The fish may only be 50 feet away, but tough to go get them depending on the set-up.
I've got a winter spot on Stillhouse where I caught 40 crappie and 10 white bass one night and then it pretty reversed the next without a change in the weather.
