Good read. It talks about the COE and their plan later this winter and how they can't release. If we get anymore rain in Grapevine, it's going to take a long time to get back to normal. This goes for Benbrook and JP too. We're going to have a flooded spawn in these lakes and a lot of East Texas lakes.

Corps of Engineers talk high lake levels

This has been on heck of a weather pattern. Seems it started with the floods back in May of last year. After that there has been on HUGE rain event after another! nuts

It's double trouble for me. My other hobby is mountain biking. I'm not going to see my trail for a long time if the don't let some water out!

I went yesterday and caught four unders, and two sardines. I won't be surprised to see the lake up another couple feet after yesterday's rain.

Its shaping up to be a slip fishing spring if they don't get the water out pretty soon. I know before the last big rain event.. they dropped the water a ft or so pretty quick. They can get the water out in a month or two if they really wanted to.

Looks like a poor year for spring fishing and maybe a better year for spring spawning!

Anybody want to run a boat taxi from Silver Lake or Scot's to Twin Coves? I'm having withdrawals.
