I have to opportunity to get one for cheap.

Anyone have any experience with the mid-late 80s models? Good? Bad? Ugly?

Be sure and check the transom for any weakness or rot. Some of Procraft and Astrocraft were prone to have transom issues.

There is a reason it is cheap. Those early model Procrafts are junk.

I ran an 86 1650V for 18 years and never had a problem with it. Do check the transom like with any boat. I had a Yamaha 115 on mine and drove it all over with out issues.

It may require some cosmetic work but IMO good boats
