That I can find in store at Academy or Cabela's, I have gift cards that I can't get to work online. I'm looking for a good dock skipper for weightless plastics, using braid w/flouro leader, thanks in advance.

I have a "Original" 7'MH Falcon.Stout on reds etc. Don't know if these locations carry them.Tacklewarehouse for $100.
Worth the money.

I don't know if they still make it but I have an old (12 years)Castaway drop shot special that is 6'8 and I wouldn't take for it. Got it at Gander Mountain.

Don't know if your gift cards are specifically for Academy or Cabela's or you just said that because you wanted to buy the rod in person with a generic (Visa, Amex, etc) gift card but Dobyns makes an awesome line of strong back boned spinning rods in the Champion line. It's hard to find a good spinning rod that has a great back bone designed for bass fishing. If buying from somewhere other than the 2 stores you mentioned is an option, you really need to look at the Champion 703SF (medium) , 704SF (med/hvy) or 705SF (heavy).

Yeah, slowly moving my rod lineup towards all Dobyns Champions. They are the generic gift cards, Visa I think.
