Okay, so I took the Pescador Pro 100 out for a test run yesterday and got her slimmed. Our plans for the Brazos fell through so last minute changes and we went to Joe Pool. The 5 of us Launched from Lynn Creek Marina. I have to say I was very impressed with the Pescador Pro 100. For a 10'-6" kayak at 30.5" wide, it handled pretty awesome. It was windy and that little thing did not get tossed around like most other 10' kayaks would. It also tracked very well. I was able to stand up, but I wasn't comfortable enough to actually fish in that position. It is a great improvement over the old Pescador. We fished for about 5 hours and I did not feel tired from paddling or from the seating. I was able to keep up with or even stay a head of the other guys fishing in the other Kayaks. Never once did I feel like I was at a disadvantage because of the Kayak I was in. I can't wait to get her fully rigged out!!! Thanks Aris Tsamis Mariner Sails!!! This is a great all around Kayak. I was just gonna use it mostly for a river kayak, but you can easily use it for any occasion. #PescadorPro100 #KJsCustomLures

Nice I'm jealous. I like that new one a lot. How much is that 100 selling for?

I've been looking for these kayaks to hit the market since August. I expected a lower price point though. With the original Pescador selling for $499-599, and the Ascend FS12T selling for $549, I expected the Pro 12 to come in under $750. Maybe they are still a value if they offer nearly all the features of $1100-1400 kayak from a bigger named brand.

I have been interested in the center console of the new pescador pros. It says it's made to install a depth finder, could you explain where the transducer mounts for the setup?

I'm considering getting two of these. Would they be good to just go paddling around in, like the Brazos below PK or in some of the State Parks?

They are awesome. And they are light enough to toss around without worrying. Fronk, the center console is made to where you can store a 7-8ah 12v battery. It also has a spot underneath where you can mount a transducer. Very Clean.

Nice review...idk why I didn't see this when you originally posted it, I didn't paddle it but was impressed by the way it handled the chop it was rough that day!
