Water temp 59 , 8ft high , gates wide open.
4 sand bass, did`nt get a bump from crappie, maybe 5 boats on the water.
Most ramps closed. We put in at the ramp by the beach.
Tried minnows(red rosies®ular) and jigs (chartrues/pink&black&green)

Been a tough bite. High water ,open gates ,warm water you name it . Maybe 5 more inches of rain this weekend .May be awhile before before things settle.

It seems it's either drought or flooding on Pines lately. Even the private lake I fish has the ramp closed due to high water.

13.5' high and releasing tons of water. I would not fish there right now.

Went Sunday and didn't boat a single crappie, all yellow bellies. Only ramps open are Johnson and alley. Heard that they were catching them below the dam too.. I might go there tomorrow and I'll let y'all know. Water temp was 54 and not a single boat out there.

It will take a while to get it down, there is 11-12 creeks that feed in to pines. And they are still a lot of water coming down them. Back up my way to the west the bottoms are full and I am sure its that way ever where.
