Anyone have one or been in one? Just looking for feedback on how it fishes and rides, as well as any other details. It only has 1 rod box, trying to find out how many you can fit in that box, storage and cooler size. I appreciate any help in advance.
Thank You
Brian

Brian, I purchased my Ranger Z119 new and it has met every expectation. Mine has a 200 Pro XS but I got mine with a tandem axle trailer and wouldn't have it any other way.It is a very nice platform, very stable. The single rod box handles about 12 rods. I am never without 6 rods on the deck and I have adequate room. Mine is a single console which is my preference and I got lighted storage compartments, remote oil fill, hot foot, blinker trim, custom upholstery, and a Hambys keel guard on mine as options. The ice chest will hold ice all day. My boats fit and finish is flawless: not a single stress crack or any other item that is misaligned or out of place. I prefer the length over the 21 footers as they are more manageable. I don't tournament fish so I didn't feel like I wanted to justify the expense of the additional length. I am sure you know it, but spend a few dollars and have a competent, unbiased mechanic check your engine for compression and get a printout log of the run time and RPMs. I hope this has been informative and I am confident you would enjoy this model.

Brian, I forgot to say that mine is a 2011 model also. The cooler will hold a full days supply of water/soda/sports drinks/etc. My ride is very comfortable and I have no complaints about storage. There is a long storage box on the opposite side of the front deck as well as a center compartment on the front deck and two storage lockers on each side of the back deck.

I have the Z119 (2011) with a single axle trailer and love it, allows me to move it around easily after I unhook the truck. Rides well in rough water and the hole shot with my 200 is excellent. 10 to 12 in the rod box and several more in the right locker if I need to. Plenty of good storage with Ranger fit and finish.

That's really slow with a 200. Rangers certainly aren't known for speed but the Z boats are faster than that.

Maximum Rating for a 2011 model is 200hp. Newer models have increased to 225hp

Boat is awesome but i would be concerned with a single axel trailer. After sever tow truck fees I would hold out until I found one with a tandem axel.

the only negative about the rig is the single axle cool hub trailer...the cool hub is a bomb waiting to explode...a duel axel is cool cause if one fails you have another on the failed side to make it home or to someplace where you can get help...I learned this the hard way going to Falcon Lake awhile ago, I had a single axel and had the cool hub fail 10 miles from the ramp !!!...it cost me a little over $900 bucks to have my rig flat bed trailered back to my house in San Antonio at the time so I could have Ranger send me a replacement hub...thats right the only place to get a replacement hub is from Ranger...you can't go to a local auto parts store and get what you need, and if you in the middle of nowhere you are screwed !...and after spending two nights in Zapata I couldn't wait any longer so it was faster to get a flat bed truck and fix it at home... do what you want it's a great boat, but offer less money cause it's a single axel...just my two cents.
