what do you guys recommend for colder weather clothing for a big guy..im a 3x-4x depending on what I get...
cant find anything I like locally like at academy or bass pro...
here in Texas doesn't get that cold and cold doesn't bother me.. just want something that will keep me warm and dry on those cold days that I want to go but cant wear shorts...
I have looked at frog togs but cant find any my size... not sure but a bib system my be best can always take top layers off when it warms up like it does ..here it might be frosty In the mornings but 50-60 at 2 pm

Arctic Armor if you are wanting to stay dry and warm. They go up to 5XL

I have both Cabela's guide wear and Arctic Armor. I would recommend both of them.

I can certainly recommend Cabela's Guide Wear. I've had my XLT sized bibs/parka for about 10 years now. Some of the best money I have ever spent.

I have seen the Academy H2O Express bibs and parka in up to 3X. It is waterproof but you got to layer for cold weather. What I wish is someone made bibs for anglers with a beer belly and short legs. Cabela's use to have guidewear in XL short but they discontinued it. I am always walking on my pants cuffs.

I just got in my HUKs and they are really well built. I like to layer and be able to use my gear year round so that's and option and they are on sale right now

I have a 2x HUK jacket and 2x Cabelas Guideware pants. I would recommend both brands. I am very impressed with the HUK brand.

Buy a Yeti cooler and turn it into a coat of armor. It should keep you cold in the summer and hot in the winter. roflmao

I've got StormR now but they fit a little snug and I'm a little larger than most. I had Bass Pro 100mph gear prior to that in XXL Tall and they were perfect fitting. I could wear multiple layers underneath and still have room to move around and create heat. You don't want them too tight. Both sets I have had are 100% wind and water proof and are very warm.

I have a set of 100mph gear as well as their ProQualifier gear. I used the 100mph suit and stayed nice and warm on Lake Erie in April/May in spite of wind, cold and rain. Instead of an actual liner I bought a fleece vest and zipped it into the shell. I use PQ gear during the warmer months.
