Wow nice baits and for that price. Please let us know how they work when you use em. Super Duper Lures are going at $4.98 at Acadamey and they are usually sold out this time of year. Artificial bait prices keep on getting higher. I looked on Amazon and I was impressed on some of the lures I saw especially the prices. Again keep us posted on how your lures worked.

Side Note: Nice fish Chuck. Good eating right there! Will be fishing this upcoming weekend for sure!

Thanks Curtis and Charles for the replies! cheers Charles: Nice baits. Hope they work well. Sometimes those no name brands can work great and will save you a lot of money. Curtis you are right. Baits are going up in price every year. Last year I was paying $2.89 for the Super Dupers. Now they are $4.89. Just think what a lot of your bass lures go for! At least sunfish rigs do not cost much. Anyway bait prices are just part of fishing! fish

Laker One, I took these out for a test this morning and they were disappointing. The spinner did not spin properly. The blade barely spun most of the time and just kinda wobbled when retrieved. I thought it might be my presentation so I put one of my Mepps on in the same spot. Spun and retrieved beautifully.

I have decided to return these to Amazon and already have my shipping return label printed. It was worth a shot though. If they would have worked properly it would have been a great option to expensive Mepps or Rooster Tails. You get what you pay for though. I just never thought they would have been that bad. They look so simple, what could go wrong? Right.

Anyways, that is the review.

Sorry about the bait performance. You will never know unless you try. After reading your results I was looking more closely at the baits on the Amazon Web Site and all of the no name brands looked cheaply made. I guess I will just have to keep my eyes open when I am at Acadamey,Bass Pro,Walmart,or Dicks for a good deal. Thanks Charles for the information on the spinners. thumb

Side Note: You fishing the Guadalupe tomorrow. Trout stocking day! coolio

Thanks Charles for the bait information. Just got in from the Trail Race with a friend of mine. We limited out. Took the trails down to the river and located a couple of nice spots where they were stacked. Berkley Cheese Colored Trout Bait and gold Super Duper Lures were the baits of choice. As for crowds really not that bad. Great way to spend a morning.

Ben getting pretty good numbers on Lake Wood, and Meadow Lake. Fish are in 15 to 20 feet of water holding by brush piles and drop offs. Jigs Chartreuse/Pink are the bait of choice. Here are a few I picked up last week.
