A couple holographic green gizzard I finished up last night still have to finish the topwaters and jerkbaits today. Then on to the next pattern!

Finished up the jerkbaits and topwaters tonight, moving on to summer Shad in the morning going to be cutting it close to get everything I want to bring ready I time.

Man not really its going to be a grind to get everything done by Friday. I'm working tonight and took the rest of the week off, still have a lot left to pick up and need to paint 40-50 more baits to have all the patterns covered that I want to bring. I have the 2 new ones I haven't posted yet left to do a full run of each and I'm going to be cutting it close. Imagine I'll be up for about 30 hours tonight and tomorrow to have them all finished and cured out in time.


Not going to have as any baits as I wanted to bring will have to start earlier next year should end up with around 240-250 baits. I really needed to get in the 300 range to bring all the stuff I wanted to bring, but just ran out of time.

Look forward to meeting everyone and having a good time relaxing for a few days been painting 5-6 hours a day plus working for the last 2 weeks and 8-10 hours of painting on each day weekends.

Fellas, I got the chance to fish with Brad in a Sunday tourney earlier this year. He put it on me with a couple of his cranks- and make sure you ask him about his "Smallmouth Special" lol~ its the real deal!!

I'd already have a box full of your stuff if it was on sale at the normal places. Loved your wake bait and that silent crank you were using. I really need to get a few from you, but man its hard to find time =(

Brad, I feel your pain. Last year was very rough on me. I was up from 6 am on Thursday until 11 pm on Friday. Then overslept Saturday morning and was late to the show! I do not remember the drive home that night, just glad I made it.

I'm not going to let that happen again this year. We're putting the last skirts and rattles on the jigs tonight. I'm going to have just about everything I wanted to have. The Live Perch and Fork FM Lunker Thumpers are listed as probable right now.

Funny you mentioned the small mouth specials I'm working on those at the moment. I'll drop you a package off next week that will get you a good start to filling up your new boat.

Thank you sir, I have been hard at it all day today had some airbrush issues had to run and get parts for probably cost me bringing the 2 new patterns I wanted to bring I have a couple for people to look at and have them on a order sheet. Just ran out of time really fell short on my goal of bringing 300 baits. I'm right around 250 lost count twice and said forget it. Time for a nap! See some of yall this weekend hopefully stop by and bs for a while.


Here will be the last of my baits that I'm bringing. They will be ready to build in about 2 hours, might have to be done at the show. Built up enough baits for one day.
