Thanks Dan!

I've heard of some giants being caught there so you never know when that next cast will be a solid 6lber. I've seem some good catches on our facebook group in the last month of fish over 5lbs.

Nice. That's what I'd call my home lake. I took a pic for a guy that reeled in a 7.1 lber a couple months ago. It does hold some really nice fish but unfortunately the parking lot gets quite full on the weekends.

We appreciate the heads up guys, we always make sure a PFD is within reach on our vantage chairs. We are going to make an effort to make sure we are wearing them in our future videos, just some times get relaxed on the smaller bodies of water.

My largest bass was caught on PTL. 9.10 lbs. A beauty caught on a bed about 6 years ago. With the flooding washing some fish out and the over-fishing, the bass population has reduced. Does the lake still have some big ones, yeah, but not as many. We need a game warden that lives/works closer to the area. Too many people showing up out there with throw lines and filling up a bucket with whatever they catch.

My daughter and I would go out there at night and catch about 6-7 bluegills on the dock, then walk to another area and free-line the gills and catch some nice bass and cats. Night time was best to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Once the grass comes back and local game wardens patrol the area, the fishing will pick back up. Until then, like Dan said above, RIP PTL.
